It was built by (wait for it) my husband's boss's wife's grandfather, and then the furniture was done by her grandmother. its about 3 feet square, and the back is open with the front opening on hinges. The whole thing has wood plank floors, vintage wallpaper, and electric lights! None of which was working when I received it. I learned how to wire dollhouses on this one, and it was a vexing and fun project! I never did get a couple of the rooms to work...
They gave it to me because their kids had outgrown it, and their young cat had moved in and started chewing up the furniture. Cats are such jerks! So I also learned how to rebuild mini furniture as well!
The following pictures are of it as it was when I picked it up, minus all of it's cat ruined furniture. I had alot of fun repairing that furniture!
